3 winter cake designs to brighten your holiday table
During the last year of our tearoom, my brother and I wanted to create something special for Christmas.
That’s how we came up with a little collection of festive layer cakes for our clients.

Designing them felt like creating edible decorations; cakes that could bring a touch of magic and elegance to each holiday table. ✨

Today, I wanted to share a few photos of these creations with you.
Hopefully, they’ll inspire your own festive desserts this season.

Here’s what we made back then:

Cake 1: vanilla sponge, passion fruit curd filling, lime frosting

Cake 2: hazelnut sponge, pear & caramelised pecan filling, vanilla frosting

Cake 3: chocolate sponge, chocolate & hazelnut filling, tonka bean frosting

✨ Little tip : tonka bean is my ultimate festive spice !
I add it everywhere! Into whipped cream, caramel, or frosting. It brings such a warm, cosy, almost addictive flavour.
