A Spring Ritual :
The beauty of thoughtful details
🌿 Spring — the season of thoughtful details

I have to say… little gifts and thoughtful details are one of my biggest joys in life !

Creating small handmade things for others is something I’ve always loved.
I could spend hours doing it : putting a video in the background, working with my hands and just letting myself slow down. It always feels right.

I’ve always been drawn to details.
To me, they change everything.

A delicate bow, a wax seal, a beautiful box… it’s often the smallest touch that makes something feel truly special.

Spring feels like the perfect season for this kind of intention.

It’s the time when everything comes back to life.
The birds start singing again, the sun gently warms your skin, mornings are still fresh but afternoons feel soft and golden.

It’s also the season of gathering, with family, with friends, often outside.

And what better way to celebrate these moments than with small, thoughtful, handmade gifts ?

✨ A few ideas to create something meaningful

-
Personalised little boxes
I love creating custom boxes (for example with Cotton Bird).
For a wedding, I once matched the box design to the flowers on the table, then filled them with homemade financiers (you can find the recipe just here).
I’ve also made them for a colleague’s celebration, adding little quotes on each box and a tiny surprise inside.

-
Homemade treats
Biscuits and small cakes are always a beautiful idea.
I often bake little financiers and place them in simple bags, tied with a colourful ribbon.
It’s simple, but it always makes an impression.

-
A single flower and a kind note
Sometimes, the simplest gesture is the most powerful.
In a previous job, we used to thank talents by offering a flower with a handwritten note attached.
It was minimal, but incredibly meaningful.

💛 Turning a gift into an experience

More than the gift itself, I love the idea of creating a moment.
Wrapping something in beautiful paper, adding a dried flower, sealing it with wax…
It doesn’t take much time but it transforms everything into something memorable.

I truly believe we remember what is made with care.
With intention.
With heart.

🌿 Staying inspired

To stay inspired, I have a little ritual.
About once a month, I visit Søstrene Grene.
Sometimes I just look around.
Sometimes I pick up something that catches my eye, a ribbon, small bags, delicate paper… telling myself “this will be useful someday.”

Over time, it becomes a small creative stock.

And I know that whenever I feel inspired, I already have everything I need to create something beautiful.
